Writing a bio was something that did not come natural to me. So I asked friends and family to best describe my work and me. Fortunately it was all good and words used to describe me were: warm, easy going, energetic and fun.

My love of photography began at school and followed through to college. After graduation from DunLaoghaire College of Art and Design Dublin, I entered the world of television commercial and documentary production. As a freelancer I was able to alternate between the two areas of production that I enjoyed so much: set/prop styling and production managing.

Ultimately I steered towards the business side and became a producer. During my ten years of on set experience, I witnessed the lighting techniques of some of the worlds most renowned cinematographers.

Leaving production to start a family was an easy decision for me. Having my own children opened up new photographic adventures and I found myself with a renewed passion to study the craft.

My goal is to capture beautiful, natural, and fun images of children. I take a candid approach that encourages children to be themselves . My own sense of humour, flexibility and patience allows me to capture just the right moments to make those perfect photographs .
